There was a time when I used to fall asleep with a smile on my face and it was still there in the morning. It really was. I would fall asleep wrapped in my husband's body, cradled by his love. It was a wonderful time full of promise for the future. A perfect time. Life took that smile from my face, but the memory of it is so strong that it makes me smile now. To have been so happy. I was so happy. See that photograph of me. My husband took that photograph. I am smiling at him.
